your using a good gauge for 2 standard but you might have the right spring tension for e standard (if it wouldnt go out of tune when at E, it was the right tension). loosen off the springs at the back of the trem a bit till there is the right amount of pressure on both the strings and in the springs. if it doesnt pull up or sink into the body its right

I think that must be the coolest looking guitar I've ever seen!

I have the JH-600 with the Kahler and I like it alot more then the floyd, but it all depends on what you play, like metal bands such as slayer dont use very high bends...so its not a prob for me but if you play classic rock then go with the floyd

Having just watch the 2 parts , The video has convinced me the Floyd is the correct choice , yet still you will have those that will copy thier idols ...
It's the same in other forums of Music the glorified anoracks will copy own what their idols own ..
Sad but very very true !!!!!!!!!
Which is why Signature Guitars has a market because there fans want them.

would locking tuners fix the problem with the kahler

I'm guessing so the strings can freely go back to their original place after being tightened or loosened by the whammy bar.
