You do realize that Jeff Lynne later worked with George to revive the Beatles for their Anthology series (Free As A Bird & Real Love) also so this was just a harbringer of great music to come later...Mikey in AZ.

I heard someone say that Jeff Lynne was the weak link in the Traveling Wilburys. That is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard. Jeff Lynne is by far one of the greatest music composers to walk this earth. Can you say ELO? I sure as hell can. Thank you George, Jeff, Bob, Jim, Tom, and Roy for setting egos aside to create the greatest band in music history!

Wow!!! Nice!!! I went a Heartbreakers concert recently and all I have to say is WOW. Damn good. Petty's now my favorite, along with the Willburies and the Heartbreakers.

The sad part of this is, that Roy died of a heart attack just a few weeks after the album was released and never got to see it hit number 3 on the charts. |
