A nice surprise to find one of these in the attic or desk drawer! In the long run, the worth will certainly rise, but in the short run, with a major economic downturn in the works, the value may well decrease. My advice is to 'search your heart' :) if you enjoy the Curta then keep it for the long run, if it's merely a potential investment, I'd recommend selling it. Good luck! -rich (rregister) (Please visit RetroCalculators, a webzeum of mechanical calculators)

I recently found out that I own a Curta Type I from Juni 1968 (No. 71257) in excellent condition. Shall I sell it or would it be better to keep it for a while and sell it in some years later? Will its worth increase a lot in the future? Please answer, I would love to hear your advices!
