Still makes me laugh how people seem to think life is all about competition.

yeh i know, some nice work hey. Of course they do, what movie does not use this. It is a movie right? if all they needed to do to get the message out there was give you the facts Peter Joseph and others would have handed out a flyer like the end of the world fanatics you see in city streets. Im Zeitgeist has had allot of effort put into it.

It is not just a north american issue either. I am an aussie and can tell you that our government, monetary system and everything else is dictated by USA and Britain. That is the way it is over the world. The USA is by such a huge margin the most powerful nation in the world. When this type of power is present in the world, WHat is the difference between the terms "globalise" and "conquer"?

in order to have enough money to not be in debt and pay off your house you have to either-
a. spend little
b. work and make a lot of money
it is very difficult to not be in debt in our (I'm talking north american) society because loans and credit are given away like candy (until recently) and there is a very strong push from teh media to want more, to buy more, so we spend more.
No matter how much we make we end up spending more than what we made.
it is sad really...

Work equals slavery if you have debt. Without debt work can equal the ability to help others with your money and have fun. Pay your house off as fast as you can, don't borrow from banks for anything. Cars, student loans, nothing Live debt free. Borrower is slave to the lender

I can understand where your thoughts come from and i agree that for those reasons and many others the changes we need could not all happen at once in the world we live in today. It will not be instant (no one can say how long) But the problems as listed in this movie are real and we need to start acting ASAP. The whole point is that the phys and mental differences between people will not matter in this world we create because tasks will be carried out for human progress and not money.
