of course you could build faster cars for under 20 k, but will it be road legal like the veyron, highly doubt it.

ariel atom would give all of those cars a good run for their money whether in a straight line or in hair-pin turns and all for A LOT less. a lot of fast cars out there are not purchased just for the passion of driving. they are also purchased for their luxury and as a status symbol. you can have a car that can beat the bugatti in every aspect of performance for under 100k or less than 10% of the price of the veyron. you are thus paying 900k for luxury and status. not a good value but se la vi.

Still something ... A Ferrari FXX Evo with its 860 hp will make a wet clown out of this Bugatti, exact like the Porsche 997 Gemballa GTR EVO 800 R with its 850hp will do. The Bugatti is just a fat overloaded beetle. Not so the EB 110 series. These were sportscars!
