I LOVE THIS SONG,, WHEN I WENT TO ASK TO SEE IF IT EVER CAME OUT ON CD,,,THE PEOPLE KEPT GETTING IT MIXED UP WITH THE OTHER FREEDOM SONG(the one with the models) THIS SONG JUST MADE YOU FEEL GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad this song has nothing to do with politics or China or any other ridiculous overture that Wham tried to tie here...this video was clearly an afterthough.

Wham was the first pop group to play in China. They released Foreign Skies - Wham in China following their visit. It was a big deal back in 1985.

yes wham did visit china in 1984 this is when this video was recorded. as china has become more open & democratic since this time plenty more western bands have played there. elton john was actualy the first in 1979 with the ray cooper percussionist tour. |
