as i remember the only answer of mercedes to bmw's upercut was to insert a huge engine to their cars. in midle 80's when was born bmw 750 with V12, mercedes ansvered with huge s600. in 21 st century when was created the latest 7 series bmw with iDrive, and many revolutionary decisions, mercedes just turbocharged their s600's. russians say, got power?no need in brains. i guess mercedes guys like this stupid sentence. p.s. sorry for my bad english. but i realy love bmw also respect mercedes.

M3 BABBEE!!!! C63 6.3 litre V8 engine, M3 4.0 litre V8 engine,, and yet the M3 kicked ass!!! imagine wat would the M5 or M6 would do!!! MB's are much more expensive than the BMW, and yet BMW are much better in performance and looks!

The problem Mercedes has is this. They create huge and furious monsters that tear cities and towns into pieces. These monsters however, cannot be tamed. BMW is focusing more on creating a war elephant that can rampage, but at the same time, can be controlled. If Benz takes the route BMW has taken with handling, it would be scary.

Personally I like the M3. Better everything (especially fun). But either will satisfy. Speed limit on most roads? 30, 40 mph? In a straight line the C63 won't get ahead much by then... 1/4 mile drags are for sods who need to prove something. If I got a M3 I'd be going to a track every weekend!
