I do too. The head of the department at Frostburg State University (the school i attend) thinks that it will be about 3 quarters. As proof of this he point to an increase in us Exports. I however disagree with him (even though i cant say it public becuase i am just a student). I think, that give that export wont say up, that it will last about 1 year to a year and a half. But if i was you i would trust the department chair over me.

Yah but we will make it out of this... The us economy has seen this before. It is nothing new. IT just a matter of when. Hopefully the bail will help loosen up the credit market and there for help with the unemployment rates. Underwriting by the government in the past (ie the when in 1930 when some community bank were "bailed out") has increased access in to loans and there for help with unemployment. So it not the end times that some media outlets are saying it will be. This is not 1929.
