I think she is saying that she used to be his silver lining, e.g. his support system, cheering him up. But now she's gotten too good for him, grown out of it, gone in a separate direction, and she can't be there for him now. And she's guilty about it letting the relationship slip away, because she didn't even try to keep it together by the end of it.
