The grizzly seems to have at least a 2:1 weight advantage, which is not much like you said. They are about the same length, grizzly still seems a little longer. But the bear is significantly taller at shoulder height and a lot wider as well. Still I think this is an adolescent male bear. You can see that it does not yet have battle scars that most adults have, and it still looks undersized and fat (like baby fat).

The big difference between big cats and bears is that if you sock a bear in the nose, you have no idea how it'll react. It might bite yur head off, it might look around confused, or it might run away crying. If you punch a cougar, you're gonna get tore up, and not in the good, getting drunk way.
