he uses the harmonic minor scale shit loads, so probably that but the key i think he said Eb. but the pattern would work in any scale or key. an example of the pattern - e-17---13-17-15-13---10-13-12-10---12-15-13-12 and so on down the scale. u basically play four notes and jump two positions, play four notes and jump up one position....hope u understand what i mean lol
