It doesnt have the 2003-2004 facelift, its a smoked headlight Laredo, which means 01-02. The ad was in late 2002 (I remember it) so its probably a 2002.

How do you know the exact year? Sorry to say, but all Grand Cherokees after the first generation have been POS. Even if they have an Orvis edition.

No it isnt. Its a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 5/6 speed variable automatic, high output V8, AWD, Dana 44s front and rear, 3.73 locking axle ratio. Pretty beastly off road and comfortable on road. I do like his car.
