The chess scene in this movie is timeless. Ah, the original Tommy Crown movie...does it get any better? Sorry Pierce. Question for you movie buffs...Wouldn't Daniel Craig have been a better fit for a remake of this flick over Brosnan? Ya know...truer to the original spirit of Thomas Crown? Just like Craig was truer to the original interpretation of Ian Fleming's James Bond.

Steve McQueen was a talentless skinny 5'7" bisexual wife beating druggie who thankfully died screaming in agony from cancer at only 50. He only got into movies by sucking dick and he played Thomas Crown like any other of his characters. His version is dated and there was far too much smoking, which is why he got cancer.

Bullshit. The remake aint even close. Brosnan couldn't measure up to Steve McQueen in ten lifetimes. And Rene Russo aint Faye Dunaway either. Hell, even Dunaway's name is cooler.

This is a cool trailer! Most of the old trailers such but I like this one, it's so cool! Dunaway looks really cool with her sayings and her white hat. Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway epitomize cool in this movie. I love the fashions and glamour from that time.
