im 23 and have had type 1 since I was 14. The comments I get now are "I thought only kids got type 1" and "your too skinny to have diabetes". There needs to be more awareness and education for type 1. It doesn't go away, the kids turn into adults and we still have diabetes, which seems hard for the general public to understand.

i was diagnosed may 14 and watchin this video has made me think about wat iv been through and it just goes to show....you dont realise how much you miss something till it's gone.

This makes me cry!!!it really does ...I have had it for 15 years, and now Im 21. 12/12 was my anniversary! I have been through so much, imagen being in a WAR. where is no electricity to keep the insulin that you have left COLD!in the middle of no where! At least here in US, there is the medication, but there are people that don't have that through out the world..like I didn't but thanks to GOD that brought me here!

Check pancreas transplants for Type 1 cure. I'm not a doctor but maybe it could help. Best of luck to everyone who have diabetes, some day there will be a cure, I'm sure.

I'm 17 and have had diabetes for almost 9 years now. The video is sweet, but tbh it only focuses on the kids and although there is the passing comment about "it lasts a lifetime", I don't think this is ever stressed enough and is something I'm struggling with nowadays. No-one could understand the pain a diabetic goes through unless they have the disease themselves, I wish people would understand that. =[
