B and A class? No idea what that is. Must be something in your country. The most reliable German cars were the older Mercedes. My grandpa in Germany had one from like 1986 until he died last year, and he had 0 major issues with it. It had like almost 300,000km on it. Now they have WAY to many gadgets and stuff, all it is is more stuff that can break and more stuff that gets in your way when you need to do something.

Every year or whenever when you get it inspected or whenever you get service on your car, it gets written down, hard to play with it. I hate the car he has, it beeps and stuff over everything, it has too much technology. If its low on windshield wiper fluid, it beeps like every 5min until you fill it up. If you take a turn too fast the low oil thing goes off. Even under the engine is plastic, an oil change is like a 10 step process on it and it takes 8qts. Its garbage to work on, nothings easy.

anywayz , if all that stuff brakes down on ur brothers audi while it s that old and only has 80 000 miles on it , why the fuck would a 9 year old car only have run 80 000 miles on it and brake down that much , they must have fucked with the meter !

thats not what i was trying to say , audi strated producing good cars after 2000 , good reliable cars , nd the class i m refering to is the b and a class , and yea ur right i said it the wrong way around vw does own audi and all the other brands i said , but porsch is going to buy it over soon , thats whats in the news now.

Volkswagen owns Audi actually, all the motors are VW designed like I said. And where do you get this info of Audi being "best in class"? And what class is that anyway, they have a wide range of luxury models.
9 years is not a long time at all, especially with not even 80,000 miles on it. My firebird is 17 years old and only simple things have broken, like alternator and battery.

dude , wtf ever , audi owns volkswagen weather u like it or not , and theres ur problem exactly , ur in america and so is ur bro , audi is german off course the parts are expensive , the car is good non the less , and like i also said audi has been best car of it s class for the last 3 / 4 years and 2000 is 9 years ago !?
Timothayyy (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
VW came before Audi. There best in class based on what? Motortrend? I dont give a crap what they say, its just there opinion. My brother has an A8L, like I said an A8 long wheel base. Its actually a 2000. The engines are designed by VW.
All experience ive had with Audi points to the fact that they are Unreliable, Difficult to work on [even an oil change is a huge hassle], Too expensive to buy, and Too expensive to repair [German car parts are VERY expensive in the USA]. Not best in class to me.

dude , what are u trying , to get me to say ur right it s not ? it is the best car in it s class , it all depends on how old that car of ur brother is , i doubt it s a a4,s4,rs4,rs4 quatro from lets say 2000 at liest ? cuz audi started producing the high quality road cars after 2000 , thats when audi became great , and btw vw is from audi so is seat bugatti , lamborgini !

There not though. I dont care about car reviews, lol.
The low end Audis are horrible, youd be better off getting a VW for less money. There so expensive to repair and pretty unreliable. My brother has a 4.2L V8 A8L and that thing has no reverse, it leaks oil, ABS doesent work and its barely past 80,000 miles. Audi makes some solid reliable cars..... Best in class right? |
