Every time when i've seen this film the tension starts to rise when that policemen stopped the car of Vera Miles. This is a masterpiece.

@RealLifeofMe Where is your connction to the facts,taht time changes think and oppossite, cleraly it isn't such a horror movie that you have to run out of the room but is was a relly goof horrormovie in this time and it is still a good (horror)movie.

Well, you know what you could do, is take some time after, putting together and analysing the last scene (where the son's face gets contorted and melts into the mother's) and the shower scene, imagining that, and then try thinking you're all alone at night in your room.. otherwise i wasn't scared either, what you ought to take into consideration is what cinndave and stephsayss said :] gotta love Hitchcock :3 best classic :3
