You'll be a code monkey for a few years but then you'll become an architect. Its a *very* tough market for employers right now and they're very motivated to go after anyone with talent. About 5 years ago people jumped out of the field thinking everything was going to India. Some did but most didn't and now companies are fighting for employees. We just hired a guy out of school, sponsored a visa for him and are relocating him to California. A friend of mine tried to hire but couldn't find anyone.

I decided yesterday that my profile name on Steam would be CodeMonkey because I'm trying to be a game coder, and I didn't even know about this song. Well, I have a new theme. :D
