In 8 December 2008 a in a Greek Tv broadcast they mentioned that 28 years later John Lennon was killed and played Imagine in his memory! 2 days earlier a 15 year old boy was shot by a Special guard

I agree. John was a very loving & peaceful man. His selection of Yoko as his partner completed him and I find it disgusting that so called fans disrespect him by calling his wife names. How sad.

John was a genius. Poor man his life was shit and when he was finally happy with a female figure which he lacked as a child and son he was shot. by people that knew he was right. forgive me but Lennon, Serj Tankian, Regina Spektor and Frank Sinatra. Are the best artist in the world !! Each of them for their lyrics music, Spirit and Voices. I love them all. he did so much for humanity. he never even knew. If there is a God he should have him in glory. *sigh*

Thank you for saying it, cowboysfan782008. It makes me smile to see people actually willing to defend her. I find it quite rude people would call themselves his fans, yet insult a woman he claimed to love. People need to let her be already. They loved each other, that's all that mattered. How anyone else feels about her makes no difference - it was his heart and his choice.

Musicians come and go but legends never die.

Ignorant bashing of Yoko, he loved her, and he had the right to love whoever he wanted, for what he did for so many people. John wasn't a Jagger, or Rod Stewart with the ladies. He was just the opposite. He had an empty childhood, and then huge fame, and she fulfilled the rest. Ironically, both John and Yoko, and Paul and Linda lasted to the end. And that isn't exactly the norm for rock stars. Think outside the box! |
