HA! like voting will change anything, surveillance is way too lucrative (think of all the possibilities for marketing branch of companies if they could know all your habits, think of all the money the company making those devices gain by this increase of state power) NO government will be able to resist, even if they wanted to, which they don't, extensive surveillance of the general population gives incredible powers to the state and its police force, there is no way they would give that up.

"The EU can lawfully suppress political criticism of its institutions and of leading public figures «( European Court of Justice ruling 2001 ).
The European Charter of Fundamental Rights (art.2,passage 2) states that the death penalty can be used for « rioting, civil upheaval & during war ».
However, in the same Charter ,the right of EU citizens to VOTE has been left out.... WHY !
Vote for a EU-sceptical party in the EU parliament elections in June & save democracy in Europe.

There is some glimmer of hope however. All opposition parties are against this sinister scheme, so as long as you DON'T VOTE LABOUR at the next election the whole thing will be scrapped, so happy days people! when they're out we can rejoice a little that our liberties are less under threat! :-) |
