No it really isnt, youll struggle to find a computer/laptop without it now, so go with it, its no bad just takes a while to adjust from Xp to windows

if you want it for playing games get the m1530 but if you would like your laptop to be more mobile and transportable get the m1330. I think the m1530 is better because its cheaper and better + its got a better graphics card.
