But what these weapons that only 'look' like killing machines have over the traditional hunting rifle is gas injection and rapid-fire accuracy. An M-16 is a weapon which is designed to disable a 150-200 lb man. A hunting rifle is a weapon which is designed to kill a 400+ lb animal. Animals, however, don't see it coming and don't have body armor and don't return fire. The primary benefit to an M-16 is that you can accurately disable your enemy before he hits you.

True. Many hunting rifles you can buy are much more powerful than the weapons you speak of.

I for one wish they would use the military to enter all major US cities and terminate all known gang members, drug dealers, etc. Enter all homes, anyone who has evidence of drug dealing is thrown into the street and shot. Anyone who has nothing to hide would love the results. Imagine no more gangs or drug dealers. Then, hunt down all the people who produce drugs abroad and terminate them as well. We are far from martial law. Bill of rights is still in place.

You do realize that "military automatic weapons" means low powered semi-automatic weapon, right? Most hunting rifles are more powerful than 5.56 m-16 and 7.62 ak-47 rounds. Look up truth about ak-47 firepower. These guns are only being banned because they LOOK like killing machines. Currently you can't get a full auto weapon without a class 3 permit which requires fingerprinting, background, etc etc. No one with these legally distributed weapons uses them for crime! Gangs use black market wpns.

Yes they do and yes they will. I still don't see how people can remain so ignorant to the obvious tyranny before them. 9/11 INSIDE JOB! Everything that follows behind it is obviously a farce in connection with it!
