Glucose Induced Intracellular Events: Boston University. Boston, MA, 02118, USA. In this study temporal sequence of intracellular glucose-induced metabolic and ionic changes preceding protein secretion has been determined. To determine the times when the earliest and half-maximal changes occurred, multiple simultaneous fluororescence spectrophotometric methods were used. In response to glucose, a small decrease in the ATP/ADP ratio is among the earliest changes like the immediate changes in pyridine[NAD(P)H] and flavine(FAD) nucleotide redox state; this is followed by an increase in Oxygen(O2) consumption and the ATP/ADP ratio and then a rise in intracellular pH(pHi). After all these metabolic and ionic changes, cytoplasmic free Calcium(Ca2+) reached its half-maximal value at about 325±20 seconds. it speaks like the british scientist who propose the existance of blackholes

What would it take to get some real narration here? The voice renders the video intolerable.
