DUDe your specs sux.. Replace home with ultimate.. then replace ur 480 w with a better wattage power supply.. Get a WD raptor x hard drive..AND for fuck sakes add one more gig of ram why dont you.

I got mines in the spring of 08, it sounds VERy kick ass on plain speakers. Imagine hearing it on killer speakers. As for the poping sounds.. just update the driver.. and no conflict in your pc.. :P

I don't know what the hell you bought but mine works great with NO popping. I use the Creative X-Fi ExtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro which is a full sized card. Now my old Creative X-Fi ExtremeGamer which was 1/2 a card did suck as it did pop. Then again why would you buy a ExtremeGamer for $100 when for about $40 more you can have the Icing on the cake too?
