I live an hour away from the wildfire sight, and it is stiflingly hot around here. The air is super dry and your skin feels like a dried up avocado(whatever that feels like.) But I feel so sorry for the residance of the people who live around there - I hope insurance or something will cover it up...

Fire resistant homes are what they need in CA A CONCRETE dome home resist wild fire will survive an earthquake I really can't list all the benefits but you can build one for less than a traditional stick build home and it could survive almost every disaster except flood. Even if they flood the recovery is quicker. Look on the web the monolithic dome institute will educate you with all the facts end the disaster industry with this tangible building now. There are earth homes that can be built too
