1. It's a young giraffe, you can tell by its smallish size 2. If it went in the water, the lions would let go and be able to swim and climb up onto its back and grab the neck 3. The giraffe IS kicking; the lions know that and go for the rump or the belly 4. The male lion only comes in at the end of the chase when the giraffe is exhausted, just for the kill 5. This is not sadistic, just nature 6. I'd like to see YOU film this event smoothly while running through the brush

If the Giraffe had half the brains of a Zebra he'd just walk into that nearby lake. Lions would've retreated otherwise drowned while hanging onto the Giraffe. But then thats how brainy you'd be if you too slept for only 5 mins a day. However I loved that flying kick one of lions received at the start.
