I wish we still wore clothes like that! I like the mod look a lot better than the stupid teenage fashions that we're stuck with today. Thanks for posting this!

Thanks for posting this, it's really fab gear! Clips from this often appear on TV documentaries about the swinging sixties. Everything was so wonderfully innocent and fun back then, or at least that's the way it appears now. Isn't everyone thin! Probably why I can never find original retro clothes to fit me. ;-) London did swing back then, well it did in a few streets in Chelsea anyway. The rest of us watched it on the News at Ten!

Sounds like Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. They were very popular 1966-67. I don't recognize the song, though.

I love that long blue dress with blue hat at 2:50 but I'd never wear boa feathers because like Sir Paul McCartney I'm for PETA. This was a very interesting video thank you for posting! Groovy Fashions!

Were you able to find the name of the instrumental? I'm interested too. There was mention of James Last but he made too many vinyls.

Loved the false eyelashes and the Mary Quant hairstyles - but the dickie ... that was a first for me.

This appears to be 1966 I guess. I visited Hung On You which was the only really avant garde boutique featured. Carnaby Steet was finished by then . Carnaby street was finished by 1964. My favouite boutique at time was Just Men where I had various garments made . It was in Tryron street off Kings Road.
