Pecknold (Fleet Foxes lead) is a young cat, only 22 at the release of their self-titled album. He and Skjelset write brilliant songs, and his voice is incredible, yes. But James has been around much longer. If you want to draw a comparison between Pecknold and James, it is the youngster who sounds like James. But they have distinct styles. There is no need to compare. VERY different sounds.

Evil Urges was actually my least favorite album. There were certainly some good songs, but for the most part I think that all of the songs on that album should have been like evil urges and touch me I'm going to scream part two.

Nice, I do think it would be done better as a duet with Carl or Two Tone. Take listen to Live at Luther College by Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds. Jim James & one other band mate would send it over the edge.
