Some of these guys had more than one hit in the UK. Its just that in the USA they may have had one hit. Scritti Politti had several songs and Nik Kershaw had a big career for 3 years

Scritti Politti were not one hit wonders. They had another song, "Wood Beez (Prey Like Aretha Franklin" from the same album Perfect Way was on. And it charted pretty high as well.
