I have loved this song since it came out almost 20 years ago. Played it repeatedly--haunting, magical. I went to see Xymox over 15 years ago in concert live in Houston. This song was their only hit that made it to popular AM listening at the time--their signature song, really. Even then it was not played much. To my surprise-they did not play this song in concert! I tried to approach stage & request--they were not friendly and were quite aloof and not audience connected. Let down.

It's now closing on 20 years since I first heard this and it's lost none of its power; that lift at 2:23 is just magic. It's one of those songs that pulls you right out of yourself no matter what mood you are in. "Imagination... keeps the shadows away." No kidding.
