Years ago America supported afghanistan in weaponry against Russia, Now those funds are being directly used against USA. I am very happy for this, it just shows how irrational the way America thinks. This is Karma for not giving a fuck about other countries in the world, they spend so much on non sense (Like War in Iraq) and instead could be spending money on poor people and new energy ways

like it or not, our country has democratic ideals that the people in control deem 'better' than enemy countries and terrorists. Its like RISK- we keep the 'bad' countries from taking more land (=wealth/power/threat) to protect our "morally superior" power foothold on the world. I'm not saying our beliefs or democracy is better, its just how it works. Its not simple but basically its the best way we know to fight evil with good-I dont even agree with what the US considers 'good', but enough do1!

and the matter of national security is at stake when we leave new technology and weapons in vulnerable regions left to be taken over by selfish and inhumane countries. The terrorist powers have proven that they are not afraid to disrupt peace at any place in the world and with a horrible degree of moral degeneration

And when we help by paying for guns and then backing out before we help them get started in rebuilding their democracy- building schools and infrastructure we only set them up for failure and leave them vulnerable to the same turmoil they keep falling into.

If you only had half the information behind events like this. Do the costs suck...yes but the weapons are keeping invading countries like Russia (cold war) and terrorist powers like Pakistan (fucking last week) from taking over the peaceful regions of innocent civilians
