i didnt forget. i dont like arch enemy. :P deathstars are good, awesome vocals, but whenever they go live they are too drunk to know what the fuck they are holding in their hands. they should take it more seriously, instead of ruining the night for poeple who where hoping to see deathstars. amon amarth, have some good songs, but unfortunately the other songs all sound very similiar. i dont like Entombed's vocals. i DID however forget Dissection. my bad. :)

scandinavia has the best bands, that is too true. ^^ but there are good Eastern-European bands out there as well, they are worth a listen-to. and some american bands as well, but they are overshadowed by the crappy ones which have far greater numbers. generally, almost 70% of the worlds population can be called "ugly." so i play my odds, sir. XD

oh, right. i stand corrected then. i read they dissolved. O.o. Älvestam was what made scar symmetry good, but as long as he doesnt quit music all together. mors principium est = Finnish Kalmah = Finnish Insomnium = Finnish ...? never liked mors pricipium much.. :/ but Kalmah = (man of the)KING. old at the gates was good, really good. shame you cant say the same about new at the gates. never heard of gardenian though, so they must be very forgotten. :P

Technically, all Scar SYmmetry has are new singers, dont forget Kalmah, Mors Principium Est, Insomnium, Nightrage (very good), and the others like the forgotten Gardenian and old At the Gates which rapes anything today. and yes, I agree with your list for the most part.

you are so wrong... lol. scar symmetry is dissolved, so they are out the window. sonic syndicate are amatuers, so they are the window. in flames has turned into crap, another one out the window. but sweden DOES have good bands, just none that you mentioned. awesome swedish bands that assface forgot to mention: Dark Tranquillity Shining Opeth Naglfar Dark Funeral Marduk Unleashed Watain. but surely, you swedes do NOT have "the best music out now." not by a long shot.
