小田急 5000 と 2400+2320 Odakyu
1983年、江ノ島線にて 俗称2200系廃車の過程で一時的に2400との変則6連が復活した時期があった。よく見ると5000×4のほうはベンチレーターがついている（∵クーラーが外気導入できない）、最初期の冷房新造車であることがわかる（現在の残存車はクーラーは取り替えられベンチレーターも撤去されているが、クーラーカバーの形態の相違から判別可能）。
2008年3月には江ノ島線から4両編成が消えるとのことだが、やっとの感が強い。
