Sarah Palin was proof positive that there are some people in America who don't care whether a person is educated or not. It sends the message to our own children that they, too, can be a heartbeat away from being president even if they don't pay attention in class and got a degree by the skin of their teeth. It was co-signing reasons NOT to excel in all subjects in school and would have sent the wrong message to future elected leaders about how 'important' we truly think education is.
