amazing video's, good job. And you know why most creationists are so dumb? (or seem to behave): if they knew better, they wouldnt be creationists.... :) keep it up

Theories never become laws, because theories and laws are fundamentally different things. I didn't say that common descent couldn't be tested within the laws of thermodynamics. What I said was that no one has ever come up with values of the equations that disproves evolution in the same way they have never come up with values to plug into maxwell's equations or Einstein's eqns that disproves evolution.

So can common decent be tested, proven and made into a scientific law? It seems that college professors treat evolution as such.
Is this video response stating that common decent evolution CANNOT be tested within the laws of thermodymics?
Thank you for comming on video and sharing with us by the way.

... I suspect it refers to his faith that God would fulfill his word. Just a guess - it's been decades since I read this stuff.

I love Baptists. I think they're wonderful. I cannot accept their religion, though. I don't believe the story of Abraham was ever meant to be taken literally. Certainly, I do not believe it. However, I don't think the "faith" in god refers to Abe's having personally witnessed it.

"... meanings are devolved in a democratic manner."
A source of joy and exasperation.
I'm not familiar with NJRC.

I'm not familiar with that acronym. It has not occurred to me that my understanding of "faith" is the same as "senselessness," but it's not an unreasonable comparison. I don't see the relevance of other definitions to the discussion. I'm not an expert on language, but an admirer of it. I try to avoid using language in a way that is destined to confuse. This is not always possible.

Addendum: I think Baptists are pretty decent. They often stand w/ Israel. You could have done worse. But Abraham had faith in G*d and it was counted as righteousness. It was not faith based on a lack of proof: the AllMighty ahd appeared to him; otherwise, he would have just been mishegas.

I'm having an "Aha!" moment: your background of hearing it used interchangeably with "senselessness" has turned you against it! And you're right, orthogony has shifted the use of faith toward the pejorative; thus, even language continues to evolve, as meanings are devolved in a democratic manner. Did I mention that I belong the the NJRC?

Even so, I am not aware that my usage of faith is "improper" or even unusual. |
