Yet again, Logic and reason triumphs over dillusion and faith.

This is supposed to be a debate, Boteach there is spouting a hell of a lot of ad hominem.

49min: yes i suppose there would be difficulty reconciling the time needed for beneficial mutations with the age of life, if the earth was 6000 yrs old. 3.7-4 billion years is MORE than enough time for naturally selected mutation occuring simultaneously among all organisms on the planet even before the developments of DNA or sex to produce complexity. Arguing that horses can't be made quickly preciselly ignores the foundation of evoultion. YOU FOOL.

ugh i hate when people quote mine. At 30min., Darwin was talking about species, using the word race in a loose sense. I love the barrage of ad hominem attacks backed with nothing but appeals to emotion and other such crap arguments. Eugenics and darwinism are not related, eugenics is driven by unimportant physical appearances, and is primarilly asthetic. Nice try Schmuley. p.s. Life doesn't have to look like fragile green plants to flourish. First law of Nature: Life will find a way.

Another Hitchens win. Remember, you'll always win an argument when you have rationality on your side, as does he.

malcolmmcdermott (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
So God exists because Christopher Hitchens hates Channukah?
malcolmmcdermott (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
True.

I can't say that I am surprised to see who is the more aggressive of the two. Boteach failed because he chose to spend most of his time attacking Hitchens instead of proving the existence of god. |
