Ok, racism is NOT th point here, Ron Paul is not a racist and this has been comfirmed by the president of the NAACP. You people hammering Paul for being a racist don't know what a racist is. I'm sure there is more than one way to look at the info. If you look at the history, you'll see that transatlantic slave trade nearly stopped by 1810. You'll also see that 22.5% of slaves were taken to British Caribbean colonies, while only 5.4% were taken to British North American Colonies. If you are speaking only of mainland Britain, then there were probably only 10-20 thousand. If you are talking about all of Britain, they probably had 4 times as many as the US, when they abolished.

I think the problem is that Lincoln wanted to end slavery in the US, but he did not want to do it with war and he did not want to force it with the federal gov't. At the same time, he did not want the issue of slavery, which he knew was in the process of dying out in the US to rend the US into multiple states at odds with each other. Also I doubt your facts on Britain's slaves. Remember that every American slave was a British slave until 1776. And the slave trade really slowed by 1800.

Oh, so suddenly only American slave-owners are racist? Not British ones? How do you know they wouldn't have accepted any money? Money was what the slave trade was all about.I never said Lincoln did not want to free the slaves but that was not his primary intention of waging the Civil War.The CRA is racist towards whites because schools, businesses, and almost every organization have "racial quotas" to fill which accept people based ONLY ON SKIN COLOR, not intelligence or skill.Talk about racism.
