"ah, sorry about that, i jumped to a conclusion"
No problem.. Thanks for your apology.

m: "How do you decide what is true?"
s: "Lots of research."
So anything you can find on the internet is potentially a source of information?
Do you have any sort of process or method to discriminate between what is real and what is merely convincing?
Have you ever looked for physical evidence of these beliefs? (Even second hand.)
Do you have any experience with physics, the scientific method or propaganda theory?
Do you believe most conspiracy theories or just this one?
I truly am curious.

m: "What do you think the motives behind the hoax were?"
s: "Tons of funding for NASA and a political stunt to "win" the space race against the "evil" Soviets."
Plausible, though not necessary given how credulous people were.
I wonder if the cost of faking it would be any less than actually going.
Since they'd have to send rockets there for the astronomers, build a vast set in a vacuum, invent photographic tricks still not matched today etc.

m: "Do you think it would even be physically possible to land on the moon?"
s: "Spacecraft yes.. Humans no."
And you don't think a human could get inside of a spacecraft? Why not?
m: "Is there anything that could convince you the landing was real?"
s: "Nothing that I've seen so far."
That's not what I asked. Can you imagine any adequate proof? What would it take to change your mind?

"Spoken like a true NASA Cyborg"
You think NASA have implanted machinery in my body?
Or is "cyborg" another one of those words you use without knowing what it means?

So it's a paraphrase rather than a quote then. A bit off topic frankly.

"It's pretty laughable so far, but I'll persevere a little longer before deciding if they have mental health issues and/or learning difficulties."
Spoken like a true NASA Cyborg troll, who wouldn't believe Apollo was faked, even if Neil Armstrong admitted to the world that it was just "One Giant Leg Pull For All Mankind!"

"what does religion have to do with this? I think you're the troll"
The remark I made .. "I hate atheists with a bloody passion", was taken from the silly troll's profile page.. I just added the "trolls".
Check it out. |
