The Aurora Borealis can come and go in the blink of an eye, ever changing, always amazing us, forever engraving it's beauty in our minds for ever. There is no music that could ever describe this wonder of nature, all I can share with you is my emotions of what I see... I wish It could go on for ever.

I saw this in Northern Connecticut, although not as blatant. I seem to remember the weather was warmer when I saw it. I'll describe. It was like a giant spider web of light was in the sky and between the strands of light were vague shimmering sheets of light all traveling to the core of the emanation. It was glorious. I saw it one other time though it was still it was as if someone took a red paint brush and streaked it across the sky above my friends house.

actually you can. I saw aurora when i was at gunflint lodge, it's located by the US and Canada board in MN. Auroras there are more rare phenomenon than in upper latitude but it happens.
