On the DVD he says it's about if Jesus was walking around the world today and saw people using his name to sell stuff how would he feel? He's all alone, no one to help him, and the entire world is using him.

I believe this song to be about urban sprawl and the commercialization of American society. Its also about how religion has taken over and it makes the world a poorer place. Thats just my opinion though.
