Kingdom Hearts II -069- Twilight Town Revisited

Saïx (サイクス (Saikusu)), the Luna Diviner (月に舞う魔人, Tsuki ni Mau Majin?, lit. "Demon Man Dancing in the Moon"), is number VII in the Organization. Saïx is voiced by Kirk Thornton in the English version of Kingdom Hearts II and Ginpei Sato in the Japanese version. He weilds a claymore. The name claymore is thought to be from claidheamh mòr—a Gaelic term meaning "great sword". However, another theory suggests it may come from claidheamh da lamh, literally "two-hand sword." Claidheamh is ultimately cognate with Latin gladius. As such the use of the term 'claymore' for the two-handed sword is considered debatable. Trivia In the Japanese version, Saïx was voiced by seiyuu Ginpei Sato, who voiced a Before Crisis Turk that made a cameo in Last Order. In the English version, Saïx, was voiced by anime VA Kirk Thornton, who voiced Ed of Brave Fencer Musashi. This would be the 2nd time the two VAs would voice the same character, the first being Jin of Samurai Champloo. Why he is second in command when he is number VII is unknown. Possibly because he was the first of the new members that were not former apprentices to Ansem, or that the number seven is, in mathematical terms, the median (number that marks the center) of the list of numbers from 1 to 13. Another possibility is that the ranking system of the Organization is not a representation of superiority, but rather is simply an indication of when the member joined (this is likely, as Marluxia, the lowly-ranked number XI, was made Lord of Castle Oblivion in Chain of Memories). Also, he might have been the strongest member next to Xemnas. Xemnas probably felt he was the most reliable member. Another reason, though hugely unlikely, is that it was an homage to Final Fantasy VII, arguably the most popular game of the Final Fantasy Series. Saïx's name is pronounced 'Sigh-ax' in the English version of the game. The katakana suggests that the pronounciation is actually the same as 'Sykes', however.

That was soo funny when axel was walking towards kairi. At first, it looked like Hayder was retarded when he charged at axel and missed.

Actualy the numbers in the ORG represent the order they joined and not the power (with the exeption of n 1 that represents the power and rank). Saïx is the second in comand because he is the 3rd strongest (Marluxia being the 2nd but Xemnas didn't trust him!

When Sora sealed the keyhole I got a crazy idea. What if in the next game certain people would cause the keyholes of the worlds to appear.
